Normally you might expect retired folks to be inactive. This is certainly not so with our XYZ group. These wonderful people are among the most active in our church.
Each year our group makes Christmas something special for needy children, those in the nursing homes and our shut-ins. And there are regular visits throughout the year to the nursing homes to spread cheer and to show our family that they are not forgotten.
Each month we have activities that almost always includes "eating"! There are also day trips to points of interest in NC, SC & GA as well as a variety of overnight trips.
So, as you can see, this group is very active. The only thing missing, is you!
Come join us on one of our monthly outings and/or attend one of the Sunday School Classes to see what I mean. If you are looking for a lively place to meet new friends while worshiping our Lord, then give us a try.
