David has served as our Lead Pastor since April of 2025. The Lord is using David to proclaim His Word, to equip the saints, and to lead by example. His passion in ministry is to develop disciple-makers who follower Jesus’ example, and to learn Jesus’ heart so that they too might lead others to know Jesus! David shares that one of his greatest privileges is being married since 1991 to his childhood sweetheart, Jean Fowler Walker. They have two grown children and two teenage girls. David graduated from Southwestern Seminary with master’s degrees in Theology, Counseling, and Religious Education. David enjoys coffee with his hazelnut creamer, spending time outdoors, and sitting on the porch reading alongside Jean.
